Read this entry with one caveat

One of the few schools in this tracker that cites the statute by name in its handbook. It states no exception or waiver process, so that field is unverified rather than absent.

Each row is either something this district’s own document says, or an explicit admission that we have not found it. We never infer one period from another. Passing time, lunch and study hall, the three periods the statute never mentions, are marked with an amber rule.Q8

How phones are stored

A local choice, not a state one

Locker or collected bin

Phones are left in a hall locker or handed in to a central bin.

Devices stay locked in the student's own locker between 7:50 a.m. and 2:35 p.m.

What happens if the rule is broken

“Students found with these devices will receive demerit points and have their device confiscated by a staff member. Confiscated devices must be picked up by a parent/guardian after dismissal starting at 3 pm until the building closes.” Students who call a parent for pickup on a personal device without notifying the nurse or security are referred to the grade-level disciplinarian.

Asking for an exception
