What it never collects

  • Your name or your email address
  • The name of your school or district
  • Your IP address: it is salted, hashed, and never stored raw
  • Any tracking or behavioural analytics

Please do not write anything that identifies you or anyone else in the open-text question. No names, no school, no district, no teacher. Students have faced consequences for criticising their own school’s rules, and an anonymous survey stops being anonymous the moment a sentence names a building.

Individual responses are never published. Results appear only as totals, and only once enough people have answered that no one can be picked out of them. The full question list is published on the methodology page, and how we handle data is set out on the privacy page.
